Earth Center Development

Eureka city council examined a plan to convert several city-owned properties into more affordable housing on the evening of February 1, 2022. They proposed an earth center development. Among those properties are two parking lots on third street that would be developed into the proposed earth center. The earth center would be a large transit center surrounded by housing units. There will be a public meeting held a week from tomorrow to get public input on the plan.
