North Coast Weather Forecast: Thursday, October 12th

As we continue through the rest of our Thursday evening, we are looking to have a gradual increase in clouds for the region. Temperatures will drop to the 40s and 50s for overnight lows with some areas potentially getting to the upper 30s. Winds will be on the calm side as well. Fog around Humboldt Bay can be expected and some areas could have some heavy dew settling as well. For our Friday, we can expect a few hours of some sunshine, then clouds will be rolling into the region as we get into the afternoon. Rain showers will start along the coast in the late morning hours, then move further inland during the early afternoon. Highs will be in the 50s through 70s. Winds will be coming from the south with speeds up to 15 miles per hour. Through the weekend and into the first half of next week, we are looking to have scattered showers across the North Coast region with cooler temperatures sticking around for the most part. By the middle of next week though, we are looking to have plenty of sunshine and a slight warm-up in temperatures.
