One Cutten Home Invasion Suspect in Custody, Second Suspect at Large

EUREKA (KIEM)– A Cutten home invasion leads to one arrest, while the other suspect is still on the loose.

On Monday morning, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 62-hundred block of Berry Lane for a possible home invasion in progress.

Deputies arrived on the scene and saw a man fleeing through a neighboring yard. While patrolling the area, a deputy located, 20-year-old, Pares Pool walking near Walnut Drive and Avalon Drive. Upon contact, Pool fled and after a short foot pursuit, Pool was taken into custody.

Pool is charged with burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious bodily injury, and resisting a peace officer.

The second suspect is still on the loose. He is described as a black male, in his 20s. He is 6-feet-1-inches tall, wearing dark clothing, a ski mask and red Nike-style shoes.
