Wanted felon leads Humboldt deputies on foot pursuit

LOLETA, CA. – A felon wanted for false imprisonment leads Humboldt deputies on a foot pursuit.

37-year-old Matthew Gary Caston was spotted at Bear River Casino late Friday.

Deputies were called in and saw him walking on the sidewalk near the east exit, but when they tried to approach him, Caston ran for it.

He fled through the parking lot and jumped a fence, and deputies pursued him for about a fourth of a mile before arresting him for his felony warrant, and for resisting a peace officer.
