North Coast Uncle Sam Raising Money for Fourth of July Fireworks

One Eureka local is determined to light up the sky for our festive Fourth of July, and he’s setting his goal at $30,000.

Mike Jones, also known as Uncle Sam, has raised $15,000 in four days. He’s fundraising for a firework show over Humboldt Bay during the Fourth of July. He has received an outpouring of support from local organizations. His passion comes from his love for America, and also a desire for the community to come together for a fun and safe event.
