700 curb ramps to be installed at Humboldt County intersections

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA. – 700 intersections in Humboldt County need to be improved, and you can weigh in on which are upgraded first.

The Department of Public Works is in the process of planning for a massive undertaking, to install hundreds of curb ramps around the county to be in line with the American with Disabilities Act.

The effort is prompted by a settlement reached with the Justice Department, following claims that the county violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Public Works want your input on which intersections to prioritize.
