Attempted murder suspect turns himself in

ARCATA- After being on the run for months, a suspect in a July 2017 shooting at a house party in Arcata has turned himself in. 20-year old Elijah Stonebear Williams of Fortuna is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a man and hitting him in the leg. For months, investigators from several law enforcement agencies and the US Marshal’s service have searched dozens of places. Yesterday Fortuna police officers searched for him at an Arcata home, and early this morning Williams surrendered to police.
