Blue Lake council to discuss new staff position, kitchen upgrades

BLUE LAKE – Blue Lake City council will discuss a possible new staff position and other key issues at their meeting Tuesday. A recommendation comes from the Economic Development Commission to hire a planner for the city.

It’s in a hope to make more economic opportunities in Blue Lake.

Also on the agenda, the kitchen in Prasch Hall may receive upgrades, to turn it into a commercial space to be used for park programs and food entrepreneurs.

The meeting is Tuesday at 7 P.M. in the Skinner Store Building behind city hall.
