Del Norte County Supervisors to approve a letter to a local newspaper

CRESCENT CITY – After a heated meeting two weeks ago, the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors will come together again in Crescent City.

They will vote to approve the mailing of a letter to John Costa of Western Communication to clarify a previous letter submitted by First District Supervisor Roger Gitlin who asked for the resignation of Triplicate newspaper editor Robin Fornoff.

This request comes from board Chairman Chris Howard who wants the company to know the letter Gitlin sent does not reflect the views of all the Del Norte Supervisors, or the residents of District One.

The meeting is Tuesday at 10am in the Flynn Administrative Center in Crescent City.
