Cal Fire responds to small vegetation fire

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)-  Cal Fire crews respond overnight to a small vegetation fire near Scenic Drive and Okega Lane. The flames were spotted around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday night. The half acre vegetation fire was moving uphill towards structures when crews arrived to fight it. Luckily, and ultimately no structures were lost. Cal Fire says other local government resources helped to suppress the fire, and the cause is still under investigation.
