FERNDALE – First Responders are preparing themselves for a potential disaster.

Over 75 Local Police and First Responders gathered at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds tonight, to train on a new countywide “Active Shooter Response Policy”, adopted by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office.

They experienced simulated a Criminal, Multi-Causality Response Protocol Training. The first responders split into groups, and reacted to a mock disaster, so that they’re prepared if a real such-emergency were to occur, on the North Coast.
