United Indian Health Services Winter Arts & Craft Fair draws a crowd

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – The United Indian Health Services Potawot Health Village, in Arcata hosted their 18th annual Winter Arts and Crafts Fair, this afternoon. The event brought in 65 different vendors from all over the county to showcase their hand made creations. A packed building of adults and children walked up and down the hallway to see the many different types of jewelry, clothing, dolls, drums and many other items. For one vendor this is his favorite day to socialize with people interested in his work.

Organizers of the event say the whole experience is a form of healing. For both the vendors and the community.
