APD opens station doors for community tour

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) The Arcata Police Department is doing something a little different this weekend. Saturday APD will organize a department walk-through.

With a new chief of police in position and an upgraded call center APD want Arcata residents to feel a part of the department as APD feels apart of the community.

The department encourages those in the City of Arcata to stop by and take a look. Tours of the Mobile Command Vehicle will be conducted plus Officer O’Donovan and K9 Baron will be in attendance.

Arcata Police Department is opening its doors to the community December 8, from 9-2pm. Coffee and pastries will also be served.
