HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)- Congressman Jared Huffman votes yes on the Farm Bill that overwhelmingly passed in the House of Representatives today.

The new Farm Bill is different than the one that passed earlier this year that was proposed by House Republicans.

The new bill is for substantial changes that protect access to nutrition assistance, support conservation. local foods, rural development, and farming opportunities. “This bipartisan farm bill delivers on several key North Coast priorities,” said Huffman.
