Matthews selected to second term for College of the Redwoods trustee

EUREKA, CA(KIEM)- Carol Matthews is back for a second term as the College of the Redwoods trustee for  Area 3, Del Norte County.

She ran unopposed in the election and was sworn in earlier this month.

Matthews said her focus this year will be on ensuring the fiscal stability of the college and implementing programs and services for students.

The Redwoods Community College District is governed by a 7 elected board of trustees.
