McKinleyville man arrested for sexual battery, false imprisonment

MCKINLEYVILLE (KIEM)- A man is arrested for sexual battery and false imprisonment at the McKinleyville Shopping Center. Humboldt County Sheriff’s  deputies were dispatched to the area just before 3 Tuesday afternoon.

Once on scene, they learned an 18 year-old female was approached by 54 year-old Clifford Andrew Enloe of McKinleyville.

According to the victim, Enloe started talking to her and asked if she would come back with him to his hotel room. When the victim declined, Enloe threatened and grabbed a hold of her with a hug. A passerby came to the aid of the victim and pulled her away from Enloe.

He was located by deputies on Pickett Road and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
