HSU’s Career and Volunteer Expo Draws in Hundreds of Students

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University had its annual Career and Volunteer Expo. The expo drew in hundreds of students and it’s all to set them up for success.

Around ninety-seven companies and non-profits were at the expo with companies even coming from out of California.

It’s all to get students to network with all kinds of businesses and agencies. It’s an opportunity for them to get their foot in the door and to have them start thinking about their future.

Students even have a chance to practice their interview skills, polish their resumes, and even take professional head shots.

Last year, 800 students attended the expo. It’s considered to be one of the biggest events on campus.

The Career and Volunteer Expo happens every year in February.
