Hearing to Modify Track and Trace Program

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – People involved in the cannabis industry could potentially see some of their fees reduced.

Back in 2017, the Board of Supervisors required all medical cannabis operators to participate in the Track and Trace program.

Track and Trace is designed to make sure Humboldt County complies with both local and station regulations. It’s to ensure public health and safety. The state of California is rolling out a program called Metric. With the help of the California Cannabis Association, it could help with filling in data. As of right now, no further steps have been made.
