Eureka man arrested for vandalizing shopping center

EUREKA (KIEM)- A man suspected of vandalizing the Burre Center Shopping Center is caught in the act.

A Eureka police officer was on patrol at the shopping center just before 11:30 Friday night when he noticed a man crouched behind a small brick planter box wall.

The man, identified as 47 year-old Christopher Allen Guido of Eureka was in possession of multiple cans of spray paint.  According to police, the pink spray paint matched what was on the wall.

Guido was arrested for vandalism and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
