EUREKA (KIEM)- New College of the Redwoods men’s basketball coach Ryan Bisio has been on the job for just a few weeks but has already hit the recruiting trail running.

Bisio announced the signing of six local players on Tuesday afternoon. Four from Big Five Champion Fortuna and two from McKinleyville. The include Drew Gillete, Zac Claus, Donald Willis, Bradley Willis, AJ Stubbs and Isaac Puzz

It was Puzz of the Panthers who got a group chat going to see if anyone would be interested in going to Redwoods. Fast forward to now and they are now all Corsairs.

Bisio told Redwood News it was like Christmas having six talented players sign with the basketball program.
