Humboldt Folklife Festival Celebrates Last Day with Free Admission

Blue Lake, Ca. (KIEM) — Music fans came together in Blue Lake for the 41st annual Humboldt Folklife Festival on Saturday. It’s the final day and admission is free. The festival is wrapping up 8 days jam-packed with good music and fun activities for those attending.

There are two stages with live musical performances throughout the day and you can grab some food or a drink to enjoy as you listen to the different musicians. They are even having a Beatles and Pete Seeger sing-along. Redwood News spoke to one of the festival organizers that hopes it reminds people of all the great local talent Humboldt County has to offer.

There is still a little time to stop by the festival if you haven’t had a chance. Live music will be going until around 8 pm Saturday Night.
