Snipe Hunting Season Underway

Humboldt County, Ca., (KIEM) California’s statewide snipe season is now underway.

This is a chance for hunters to participate in the challenging bird hunt.

A California hunting license, Harvest Information Program Validation, and an Upland Game Bird Validation are all required to hunt snipe.

The daily bag limit is eight and the possession limit is triple the bag limit. More snipe hunting regulations can be found on the California Department of Wildlife and Fisheries website.

The season runs through February 2.
