Eureka Police Department Conducting Suspicious Circumstances Investigation, One Female in Hospital

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)- The Eureka Police Department is investigating suspicious circumstances that leaves one female in the hospital.

Before 9 yesterday Saturday morning, Humboldt Bay Fire was called to the alley in the 500 block of O Street for a report of a female suffering from an unknown medical condition.

Emergency personnel determined the female needed emergency medical services and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

Due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the female’s condition, HBF contacted EPD for assistance.

Officers secured the alley and shut down part of O Street for most the day.

The investigation is still in its early stages.
