Eureka Rescue Mission Helps the Homeless During the Wet Winter Storms

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- The wet weather and powerful storms continues to pound its way through the North Coast with cold temperatures…are the people who are left on the streets.over at the Eureka Rescue Mission- the shelter took in over 200 men, women, and children for the night. Wednesday night, the Mission saw an almost packed house with just three empty beds.

The organization says that it’s around this time where the shelter sees a lot of clients come in but with chillier temperatures, and more clients also means an increase and need of supplies such as blankets, food, and toiletries.
