76 Year Old Woman Robbed at WinCo

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- Over the weekend an elderly woman’s bag was snatched in front of a local grocery store.

Imagine being 76 years old and putting your groceries in your vehicle when someone snatches your bag. Well, for one local, this exact situation happened this weekend.

Glenda Hesseltine was grocery shopping at WinCo last Saturday when she exited the store around 1:30 in the afternoon. Glenda was walking the shopping cart back to the stall when an unknown male took the purse from the inside of her vehicle and fled through the parking lot.

The suspect made away with roughly $50. He is described as a white male in his 30-40s, with red hair, a red beard, and wearing red shoes.
