State Route 96 Open To One-Way Traffic

HAPPY CAMP, Ca. (KIEM) – After several weeks, State Route 96 in Northeastern Humboldt County is again open to one-way controlled traffic.

The section of roadway located four miles west of Happy Camp was closed due to a slide. Caltrans and Roger Brown Construction were able to clear enough debris to get the roadway back open.

Motorist are asked to be prepared for intermittent closures due to construction that is expected to last for the next two weeks.
