Power Pole Snaps in Half Leaving 130 People Without Power

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)– More than 130 PG&E customers in Eureka are without power.

Just before three this afternoon, the top half of this power pole located at C and Henderson street snapped in half falling onto other lines. At one point, approximlety 32-hundred customers were without electricity.

a portion of C street is closed while crews repair the pole. They will remain on scene throughout the night. PG&E expects to have power fully restored by three a.m.
