Arcata couple congratulated with a wedding parade

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – An Arcata couple had to cancel their wedding reception and honeymoon, but that did not stop them from getting married on Saturday.

Dave, and now, Cheryl Turner held their very small wedding ceremony in their own home. But, when it came time to celebrate with their loved ones, Cheryl’s best friend Diane decided they would put together a wedding parade for the married couple.

Family and friends lined their cars up at the Arcata Community Center and followed each other to the Six Rivers Masonic Lodge where the Turners were congratulated by their loved ones from afar.
