New curfew in place for Hoopa Valley

HOOPA VALLEY, Ca. (KIEM)-Starting today, the curfew  for Hoopa Valley residents has changed.

The hours are from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. daily,  the tribal council has also approved an order requiring all community members to wear facial coverings in public areas.

This order, similar to the Humboldt County requirement, allows businesses the right to refuse service to anyone not wearing a facial covering.

N95 masks are not mandatory. However, the minimum facial covering should consist of a two-ply cloth material that covers your nose and mouth.
