Humboldt County averages more than 100 COVID-19 test per day

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – According to Dr. Frankovich, Humboldt County conducts a little more than one hundred tests in a day. 

That places the county as one of the highest testing counties in the state.

Del Norte and Humboldt County residents can schedule a COVID-19 test at the new OptumServe testing site in Humboldt County.

Testing is also available at Del Norte High School in Crescent City.

People not currently or mildly ill can go online and schedule testing by appointment only, walk-ins will not be accepted.

Frankovich says the county is pleased with testing numbers but want to remind residents that being tested bi-monthly provides information about the spread of the virus in our community.
