Man arrested by HCDTF for possession of stolen property, various narcotics

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — A man is arrested for the fourth time this year after he was found in possession of stolen property and various narcotics. 

The Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a Eureka motel after agents received information Casey O’Leary Menanno was trafficking narcotics in the county.  During a search of the room, agents found about two pounds of heroin, one ounce of methamphetamine, digital scales, over $100,000, and stolen property, including a handgun. Agents also searched a storage unit rented to Menanno where they found 11 more firearms, four of which were reported stolen, other stolen items, and a large amount of cash.

According to the HCDTF, Menanno was detained without incident. Menanno was known to HCDTF Agents and has been arrested on three occasions this year. He currently faces 13 pending cases from local law enforcement agencies. 

Menanno is charged with possession of narcotics for sales, burglary, possession of stolen property, and felon in possession of a firearm.
