Peninsula Community Collaborative hosts Trash Bash event for this coming Saturday

SAMOA, Calif. (KIEM)- If community members would like to get their hands dirty for a good cause, an event this Saturday will allow you to do just that.

The Peninsula Community Collaborative Group  is hosting a Trash Bash event at the Samoa Peninsula this coming Saturday. If you would like to help clean up all you have to do is show up.

Some of the groups community partners that are lending a helping hand this weekend include, Surfrider, Green Diamond, FoxFarm Soils, PacOut Green Team, Humboldt Bay Social Club, and more.

Residents have the option to make their own quaranteam and bring their own supplies to clean if they wish,and it doesn’t stop there. Prizes will be available all you have to do is snap a quick picture of yourself  helping clean and  Humboldt Bay Social club will offer you a special happy hour menu for your good deed.
