Cappa leads NFC guards in Pro Bowl voting

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – The NFL released the first count of Pro Bowl fan voting. Patrick Mahomes leads the NFL in votes, but a former Humboldt State Lumberjack leads all NFC guards.

Alex Cappa is currently in first place for his position with over 50,000 votes. Cappa was drafted in 2018 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round with the 94th pick of the draft. He has remained in Tampa Bay ever since.

Fan voting continues through December 17. Players and coaches will vote on December 18 before the final numbers will determine the complete Pro Bowl rosters.
