1 Covid-19 related death, 22 additional cases reported Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms one Covid-19 related death Tuesday. The resident was in their 60’s. Twenty-two additional cases were also reported. The total case count is 2,836. Health officials are tracking 295 active cases.

Two new hospitalizations were reported by the County. Seven people are currently in the hospital, and 3 are in the ICU. Northern California’s ICU capacity has dropped to 24.4%.

On a more encouraging note, 60 more recoveries were also reported bringing that total number to 2,510.
