The approval of tuition increases from California State University (CSU) is making students feel worried. The California State University Board of Trustees approved a multi-year tuition increase that raises tuition by six percent a year, for the next five years. This means students will have to pay an extra $342 beginning next fall.

“I’m incredibly mad, especially because there are so many homeless students in campus that I’ve seen so many starving and it makes me really upset that the school prefers to make profit over people,” said Maria Fernanda Fragoso, a psychology student.
