Ferndale Council looks to fill empty seat

There is one seat open on the Ferndale Council, that’s because Dan Brown resigned earlier this month, and the city is looking to fill the empty seat quickly.

Brown’s term expires in November of 2020, but he moved to a neighboring city, and all council members must reside in Ferndale.

Ferndale business owners and residents hope that the next city councilman will be familiar with the area.

While others, hope to have someone that will help bring new businesses in town.

Those interested in this position can go to city hall to fill out a council member application packet. They hope to fill the seat by their next meeting on June 20th.
