LAKEHEAD, CA., (KIEM)- The Delta Fire rages out of control tonight two miles north of Lakehead, 40,580 acres in size. The fire has been determined to be human caused. It’s forced closures to I-5 (at the Fawndale exit, approximately 10 miles north of Redding). Now evacuations are mandatory for anyone living along the Interstate 5 corridor from exit 707 at Vollmers north to exit 714 at Gibson.  A mandatory evacuation notice has also been issued for residents of East Fork Road to Ramshorn Road east to the Shasta Trinity County line.
