Carrico family recognizes 4-H Outdoor Adventure program

Many of us are familiar with the miraculous story of the two young Southern Humboldt girls. Who survived in the deep forest for over 44 hours.

We’ll during the interview with the family Travis and Wyatt Carrico wore their Miranda 4-H t-shirts. It was a way for them to pay homage to the program. The two girls Leia and Caroline participated in Justin Lehnert’s project Called “Outdoor Adventures”. Lehnert has been providing skills for safety, survival and enjoyment in the outdoors for three years. Today Redwood News spoke to an adviser of the program. Who received a call from Justin after hearing the two girls survived because of his volunteer efforts.
