HICAP is Recruiting Volunteers

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – If you’re looking for a new challenge and you’re also a people person, you might just be a perfect fit as a HICAP volunteer.

This week, the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program or HICAP is recruiting new volunteers.

HICAP helps those with Medicare.

Anyone who wants to volunteer is required to undergo 24 hours of training. Afterwards, volunteers will go out in the community and assist those over 65 years old or on disability.

If you want to volunteer can attend an informational meeting at the Area 1 Agency in eureka on Thursday at 4pm.
