Their most recent worker who died on the job is Annetee Brooks. She was a Caltrans Supervisor who was shot to death by another employee in April of 2017 at the Caltrans maintenance facility in Rio Dell.

Lynus Ralph worked with Brooks. He recalls things about her character and who she was as a person.

Matthew Brady remembers Brooks because of her hard work and dedication to 18 years of service.

Caltrans does this Memorial Service every year so someone like Brooks is not forgotten.
