Crescent City Police Department officer sworn in

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – A new member of the Crescent City Police Department was sworn in via Zoom on April 6.  

Magnolia Valero began her career at the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office in 2018. Valero received her Associate’s Degree in Administrative Justice from College of the Sequoias in Visalia. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Cal State University, Fresno.

Valero is a first generation American as her parents both came to America from Mexico. It is her parents who have motivated her and pushed her to strive for success.
