St. Joseph Family Medical Residency Program

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – St. Joseph health welcomes the second class of residents to their hospital’s family medicine residency program.

The fully accredited 3- year program will increase the number of physicians and focuses on holistic primary care.

The program is funded by St. Joseph, generous community donations, and government grants.

There are currently six first year and one second year participant, and the program is expected to expand to 18 participants by 2021.
