6 new Covid-19 cases, 2 more recoveries reported Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 6 new cases of Covid-19 Friday. This brings the total case count to 605 with health officials monitoring 35 active cases.

Based on contact tracing of the total cases, 376 people had contact to a known case, 140 were travel related, and 83 a result of community transmission. There are 6 cases still under investigation.

On a more encouraging note, 2 more recoveries were reported as well, bringing that total number to 560.
