Public Meeting On Short-Term Rental Ordinance

The Planning and Building Department in Humboldt county has drafted an ordinance on short-term rentals and is looking to get feedback from the public.

The public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 6 pm. Planning and Building Department staff members will host this virtual meeting, discussing what the drafted ordinance is and looking to get public feedback and suggestions.

The draft of the ordinance includes a permitting process for residential homes renting out for 30 days or fewer, including homes listed on sites and apps like AirBnB and Vrbo.
