Take care of business Friday, Humboldt County offices closed Monday for training

HUMBOLDT COUNTY – If you have time-sensitive business with Humboldt County, you should probably take care of it Friday. All county offices will be closed Monday, October 9 for training.
This is the second year offices are closed to offer the All Hands Training. Representatives say it is a cost effective way to ensure that the county’s more than 2,000 employees are up to date on mandated trainings like workplace safety and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The county hopes that because many other public agencies are closed, impacts to the public will be minimal. Law enforcement and other critical services will not be affected.
Offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 10.
