ARCATA- Humboldt State is expected to make a decision on the future of athletics sometime in November.

To keep all 12 sports teams, $500,000 must be raised by the end of the October and for the next five years. So far, over $267,000 has been pledged with the state expected to match.

HSU president Lisa Rossbacher will make the decision on athletics. While News Channel 3 hopes to hear from Rossbacher later in the week, one person who’s talking is former HSU athletic director Chuck Lindemenn, who didn’t hold back when asked about the president.
