Bisio to remain with Arcata boys basketball

ARCATA- Ryan Bisio will be back to lead the Arcata boys varsity basketball team this season. The decision was up to the Northern Humboldt Union High School District Board of Trustees.

At a special meeting Monday night, the school board voted unanimously 3-0. Board member Jennifer Knight, who last week voted against the appointment of Bisio recused herself from the vote due to a conflict of interest.

Bisio’s resume speaks for itself. He’s led the Tigers to three consecutive HDN titles and Niclai championships.

Entering his fourth year with the Tigers, Bisio told News Channel 3 he’s thankful for the support from the school and the community.
