Supervisor Virginia Bass announces re-election bid

EUREKA – Humboldt County Supervisor Virginia Bass announced Wednesday that she will seek re-election in the 4th District.
First elected in 2010, Bass said that as a lifelong Eureka resident it has been an honor to serve the people of her district.
She touted her efforts to address homeless issues and develop the county’s cannabis cultivation ordinance.
If re-elected the incumbent supervisor said she will continue to address the lack of affordable housing and mental health services.
Bass will officially kick off her campaign at the Eureka Woman’s Club Tuesday, October 24 at 5:15p.m.
No other candidate has filed paperwork to challenge Bass’ seat in the 4th district.
