ARCATA – The Humboldt Bay Trail is now open. Excitement was in the air Sunday morning as the ribbon was cut on the much anticipated project.

After many years of hard work and funding the trail is now open to everyone! Hundreds of people came out Sunday morning to be some of the first to enjoy everything this trial has to offer.

Officials say this trail reflects many things that are important to those in the community.
