Victim in fatal Myrtle Avenue crash identified as 24-year-old Eureka man

EUREKA, CA. – A victim in a fatal Eureka crash is identified.

Edward Moses of Eureka was just 24-years-old when the crash happened last Wednesday afternoon on Myrtle Avenue, north of Pigeon Point Drive.

Moses was traveling northbound when he veered, striking a guardrail before colliding with a semi-truck.

He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

The other driver, and a dog involved in the incident were uninjured.

Whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash is still unknown.
